Freedom Forest School is based in Wellingborough, North Northamptonshire, and is run by a Level 3 qualified Forest School Practitioner. We currently offer Home Education and weekend sessions, giving children the opportunity to spend time outdoors, build confidence, learn new skills and connect with nature through child-led play and exploration.
Our sessions can include den building, bug hunting, nature crafts, woodland games, tool skills, fire skills and plenty of time for free play and discovery. Activities are offered and encouraged, but children are also given the freedom to follow their own interests and enjoy the woodland in their own way.
Sessions are led by an Outdoor and Paediatric First Aid trained practitioner, with a focus on creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where children can explore, take appropriate risks, get muddy and have fun.
